Our new book
Bears Above the Valley is a history of catskiing and snowboarding at Island lake Lodge. The book is full of great photos and antidotes about all the industry leaders that made Island Lake one of the most famous snow destinations around. Craig Kelly and Scot Schmidt both have interesting sections and a bunch of awesome photos. Famed ski writer Leslie Anthony wrote the forward. The book also covers the storied history of the Cedar Valley itself - from early explorers to gun slinging loggers.
